We are a small boutique Iowa flower farm, located near Jester Park just North of Grimes, that focuses on growing multiple cut flower varieties and lavender.

From Dream to Reality
A visit to Door County, Wisconsin in 2020 planted a seed in the hearts of Mike and Lynette Wineland that bloomed into Jester Hill Farm in 2021.
Lynette has always loved flowers but after seeing the Lavender farms on Washington Island the idea was born to try growing a section of Lavender on the acreage.
After the Lavender plugs were planted, Lynette wasn't finished. The beauty wasn't quite there yet so to help with that they planted numerous cut flower plants and seeds around the lavender to achieve their vision.
And that is how the Jester Hill Flower Farm was set in motion. The combination of Lynette's love for flowers to Mike's love for being in the outdoors allowed for this passion project to take root.
Mike and Lynette both work fulltime in addition to the Flower Farm at an Ag company in Johnston. We now truly understand the ups and downs of being a farmer.
